A Screeching Halt

After traveling far and wide for 23 days, I couldn't wait to arrive home and dig into preparations for She Speaks.

Unfortunately, our movie adventures--and all the family visits God so graciously interspersed along the way--have taken a toll on me. And now I've come down with a major sinus and ear infection. So I'm doing what any sensible woman would do: thanking God for antibiotics, resting, and taking a break from my blog. (In case you hadn't noticed.)

Oh, and frantically working between naps.

So, for now, this blog has come to a screeching halt. I'll see all of you after the first week in August.

P.S. If you'll be at She Speaks, e-mail me and let me know! I'd love to meet you.

Enjoy! Those Prov 31 ladies will love on you like nobody's business! If you happen to meet Melanie Chitwood tell her Shane say "hello!" (I went the last 2 years)

I enjoyed hearing about your journey with your daughter through her first experience in show biz! I can only imagine how worn out both of you are! Blessings! And see you back in August!

Julie, I won't be attending She Speaks unless they need a last minute volunteer or something. However, I am probably going to head up there to meet some of my cyber buddies who are attending. I don't know the particlars yet and have nothing set in stone, but maybe we will bump into each other.

Hope you feel better soon.

I am so sorry you are not feeling well. I am saying a prayer for you today. We have been in and out of town for the past 4 weeks and I have found myself writing in cars, practicing in showers, doing whatever I can, wherever I can! LOL. See you there,
Bridget

Julie,
Hi! Sure pray you get to feeling better. I can relate - stress in the weeks before She Speaks is no fun. I will be attending and in my 25th week of pregnancy right now and just started having some pain in my back and leg the other day. Praying it will be better soon! Looking forward to crossing paths with you in NC!
