A Christmas Prayer for You

The most wonderful time of year has descended onto our household like a mighty wind, blowing to smithereens our schedules, plans, and worst yet, my hair. Blogging has fallen by the wayside as I endeavor to ride out the storm of activity that is Christmas.

But I couldn't forget you, my sweet bloggy friends. I wish you a miraculous season filled with joy, hope, peace and most of all, God's mighty presence.

A Christmas Prayer

May the essence of Christmas permeate your home
May the reason for Christmas penetrate your heart
May His willingness to leave heaven (just for you) exhilarate your soul
May the wonder of the Christ child bring you to your knees
May the love of Christ propel you into His holy presence
This Christmas
And always
Amen

Merry Christmas, friends!

Merry Christmas to you, too. Love your poem. Hope that your pilgrimage to the manger is full of moments that behold our Christ for who he is.
