Happy, Happy Thanksgiving!

I'm delighted. Contented. Blessed.

Though it has not been an entirely easy year, it's been a good year, nonetheless.

It's been year of growth, a year of God's faithfulness, and a year for which I have so, so much to be thankful.

This year I'm celebrating Thanksgiving with a full heart and a full house. My sister-in-law is visiting from Germany, my sister and her husband and kids are visiting from Michigan, my son and his wife and our 4 grandkids are visiting from Tennessee, and my other son's girlfriend is visiting from California.

My brimming cup runs over!

I wish you, sweet blogging friends, a heart filled with God's loving kindness, and a home brimming with joy, peace, and an exquisitely satisfied heart.

So tell me, what are your Thanksgiving day plans?

Whatever your plans may be, I wish you a happy, happy Thanksgiving!

I, too, will have a full heart and a full home this Thursday! All of our family lives in town, which is a blessing, but they will all be coming to my house for lunch. My mom, my brother and his fiance. My mother and father-in-law, my brother-in-law and his fiance. I am so excited. :)

May this week be a sweet week of feasting for you in every way! Feasting on family time, feasting on delicious food, and FEASTING on the Lord's sweet presence!!!

Blessings!
Happy Thanksgiving!

From: the other Kimberly... LOL

We're going to my sister-in-law's and her boyfriend's. Mother-in-law will be there also. Same as last year. I don't keep in touch with my relatives. They have other things on their agenda. I'm not one of them. But, that's OK... because I've been adopted into the Family of GOD. ;-)

Happy Thanksgiving, Julie!

Happy Thanksgiving, Julie! Sounds like you are having an incredible opportunity to have your family gathered around you.

We had a neat family weekend a couple of weeks ago (just posted pics on my blog),and we'll spend Thanksgiving day with Don's family and one of our daughters and her hubby. Looking forward to some good catch-up time. Blessings to you and yours!

I am grateful for our little family being together . . . but I love those huge Thanksgiving dinners. Enjoy each moment.

Fondly,
Glenda

Julie, we will be having our daughter and some of her residence hall staff that work for her for a Thanksgiving dinner with the trimmings at noon. Then, since our 3 living parents are in the same nursing home, I will be making a turkey pot pie and taking that and some desserts to share with them at their dinner time at the home.

Then, daughter, hubby and I will begin shopping at midnight. We only buy super deals, then use to give to others at Christmas since we are three only kids with no family nearby we share the holidays with. AND, we are very blessed and need nothing. We find the joy in giving to those who don't have much. We love it!

May you be blessed and your heart swollen to capacity with all the family!

Hugs,
Tammy Karasek

I am happy for you Julie! I am having dinner at my sister's home. This is her year for Thanksgiving. I am happy, but a little disappointed that my son chose to have his dinner with his new girlfriend and her family, and my daughter is having dinner with her in-laws. So, my children and grand kids will not be celebrating with us, and that makes me sad.
