Unfastened

Allow Me to detach all the burdens you have fastened around your heart. Like a bulging backpack they weigh you down, slow your progress, and make your heart heavy.

Constrained, weary, and overwhelmed are not My way. Unfasten the buckle. Ease your arms out of the straps that constrain. Lift that backpack of burdens to Me. Allow Me to take it from you.

It was never meant for you to carry.

Yes, pray. Yes, believe.

But allow Me to carry.

And in place of your heavy backpack, I will give you My presence and My grace, which is sufficient.

I will give you joy. I will give you My peace. And I will enable you to trust Me with everything in your backpack.

Love,

Your Heavenly Father

Cast your burden on the Lord [releasing the weight of it] and He will sustain you; He will never allow the [consistently] righteous to be moved (made to slip, fall, or fail). –Psalm 55:22

Julie,

Wow...this is so very profound and such a blessing. It's an awesome visualization. I'm a very visual person. So, when someone shares a story with me I begin visualizing it in my head. As I read this love letter from GOD I visualized every second of it. Amazing! Praise GOD! I really needed this today.

Beautiful, Julie. Sometimes I wonder where some of those heart weights came from.

Those are all excellent verses, all so powerful. I think maybe the third one is the most meaningful to me. I feel I can endure anything in this fallen world, if I know that God is with me, beside me, His strength accessible to me. Thank you for showing us these useful verses, Julie.
