{My Joy} Week 8 Mid-Week Follow Up {And a Chance to Win A Lovely Gift!}

Hi Awesome Praying Friends,

Here we are, at the end of our online journey together. What a JOY it has been to get to know you and read your heart-felt comments and emails!

Have you had any opportunities to find joy in an unlikely place this week? Have you remembered to look for the remarkable in life’s imperfections?

One thing to remember is this—regardless of our circumstances, joy is often a matter of perspective, and it’s always a choice. We can choose joy.

Dear brothers and sisters when troubles come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. (James 1:2)

I’m honored and beyond grateful that you have persevered in praying for yourself and made it this far. Congratulations! I encourage you to continuing pursuing God’s presence—where you will always find His joy. Keep praying strong the rest of this week regarding your joy, and know I am praying for with and for you!

It’s ironic that our last week together focuses on joy, because I’m feeling so sad that our special time together has come to a close. I hope you will still meet me here on my blog at least occasionally, and that you will continue hanging out with me on the Prayers for a Woman’s Soul FACEBOOK PAGE, where I post daily prayers and encouragement for you and hope to see your beautiful, smiling face!

{Give-Away!} To celebrate the end of our study, my talented daughter-in-law, Audrey, is giving away this adorable tote bag from her website (perfect for you or a Christmas gift!)
For your chance to win, (1) Visit and "Like" her Facebook page, MOSTLY SMILING STICKS, then (2) "Like" the contest photo at the top of the Facebook page. It's simple!

Thank you, friends, for making this an awesome online study. Your participation through comments, emails, and FaceBook interaction has blessed my socks off.

May the Lord bless and transform you as you continue the holy habit of praying for yourself.

In Christ’s Strong Love,

Thanks so much for this online study! God has reminded me all week that I can find joy even in the midst of the mundane pressures of this life. Too many e-mails and a full "to do" list are no reason to lose my joy. I was reminded again and again to set my eyes on Jesus and to stop getting caught up in my busyness. Again, thanks for sharing your special gifts with us! I have received much as I participated in your study.

Julie - each pair in our women's mentoring program is using Prayers for a Woman's Soul for their devotional. It's a perfect foundation to start their meetings. Thanks for writing it.

Thank you for your wisdom and leadership. Your devotional is awesome, the prayers are so real, so sincere and speak to my heart. I have learned so much. I am praying that God will continue to work in you as you lead more women to Him, as you help more women see how much God loves us. God Bless you.

Thank you Julie for this Study! It has been so good to re-read your book with you. I found it when it first came out, and enjoyed it myself, but it was nicer with you and the other prayerful women : ) xo ~ CarolAnne ~
