Lord,
Regardless of
cultural pressures or the pull of temptation all around me, I pray that I will
consistently walk in Your ways and keep my heart pure. Help me to walk away
from anything that grieves You, whether it is a movie, music, a book, or TV
show, or anything else. May I consistently guard my heart and honor you in
words, thoughts, and action. May what I view, read, and listen to not grieve
You or make me stumble. No matter how appealing it may appear, help me not to
share in the sins of others but to keep myself pure. In Jesus‘s name, Amen.
